I am writing this blog to chronicle the journey that has been, is and will be, the life that I call mine. My journey has definitely not been paved with consistant terrain. There have been many valleys, hills, rivers, crossroads and mountains; all of which have helped make me the person that I am today. I have learned many lessons, but I have no regrets. I truly believe that everything in life happens for a reason. I am certain that as I move forward on this journey, I will continue to learn, grow and change…and I think that is very exiciting.
I will be sharing my personal thoughts and experiences in stories, songs, poems, dreams, and much more. In doing so, I hope to encourage, uplift and inspire others who can relate on some level to what I have to say here. I have come to realize that I am free to be me…exactly the person that I was created to be. It is my desire for each of you to be the best YOU that you can be. I would consider it an honor to play even a small role in making that happen.
It has been said many times that “Life isn’t about the Destination, it’s about the Journey.” Well, this is where our journeys connect. Whether it be for just a moment or for a lifetime to come, may the connection that we make here help each of us to Live… Breathe…and Fly.

This morning, I woke up and was drawn to your blog. Ive spent the last half hour or so reading and re-reading about your amazing journey(s). What a wonderful, motivating way to start a beautiful day! And it is strange to think that you and I now live in the same state of Arizona. My husband and I have been recently contemplating a day trip, and Sedona is my first wish. We were there only once before for a too-short visit, and I’ll always remember the beauty and “inner feeling” of Sacred Spirit. Relishing your pictures and writings has rekindled a desire to go again and experience more of Sedona’s awesome wonders.
Life IS about the journey, not necessarily the destination. I feel so honored to have connected with you awhile back and be on the receiving end of your amazing site. If only I could give you something in return!
You need to know what an absolute treasure you are, Denise … your thought-provoking poems, sharings, and pictures are magical, amazing inspirations to my heart. I feel rejuvenated ~ I feel uplifted ~ I feel encouraged ~ I feel I’m seeing now with “new eyes” ~ I feel open and eager for new life yearnings ~ and I’m even feeling a stirring of desire to attempt some creative endeavors of my own. Those are all forms of breathing and using my own wings to “fly,” being the best person I can be (to use your terms) … and I sincerely thank you for that, my Angel.
